Xfprint bug deletes files, fixed with a2ps

Using xfprint4 to print text files had a serious bug: by default, my default printer was selected, and the options area was greyed out and “Apply filters” was deselected. The file got printed, but was then deleted! This seems to be fixed in later versions of Xfce, according to this changelog. Selecting “Apply filters” in my version of Xfprint resulted in a “client-error bad request” message and no printing.

Installing a2ps fixed this:

sudo aptitude install a2ps
